In 2007, Anthony was picked by Boston Red Sox for the 2007 MLB draft in the sixth-round. He signed a contract of $325,000 and scored 12 home runs for the Red Sox. In 2010, he was traded to the San Diego Padres for three-time ‘All-Star’ first baseman, Adrian Gonzalez.
