No maybes for Carly Rae Jepsen. The “Call Me Maybe” singer is jumpstarting her acting career as the title role in the twelve-week Rodgers and Hammerstein’s production of Cinderella. She will replace Laura Osnes after her year-long role in the show, CBS News reports.

The fairytale role is truly a dream come true for the Grammy nominated singer. “Broadway has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and I look forward to working with this incredibly talented cast to tell this classic tale” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

The nine-time Tony nominated production was adapted by playwright Douglas Carter Beane from its original 1957 television debut starring Julie Andrews.

Jepson will work alongside Fran Drescher, who was added to the cast to play Cinderella’s evil stepmother Madame. Look out for Carly Rae Jepson’s new album dropping in 2014 and her new Broadway gig kicking off Feb. 4.
